This explains the lack of birds...

At least someone found a use for our birdhouse!

Along Came A Spider

This beauty has built a huge web in the corner of our garage door. I don't know what kind of bugs it has caught, but it has caught me twice.

Old Railroader

This one was actually taken by my 5 year old, Quinn, who spent the day at Strasburg RR shooting with my old Digital Rebel. This is one of many shots of his that I like. He has quite a natural eye.

Jockey's Ridge, NC

Jockey's Ridge is the largest sand dune on the east coast of the US. There are areas there that you can get a perspective as if you are in a desert, yet it is about a half mile from the ocean, if not closer.

Bodie Island Lighthouse

Outer Banks, NC. Bodie (pronounced 'body') Island is no longer an island due to shifting sands over time, but still a beautiful area.

Wild Horses

Corolla, NC. If you ever get the chance, rent some Jeeps and go enjoy the scenery. The horses are beautiful, and riding along the beach with the top down is a blast!

It's been raining here a lot lately, and these popped up in the middle of my yard. The big one is half the size of my foot!

Equipment at the Ready

Taken during the annual open house at the West Bradford Fire Company. I like this one because it really shows how the camera sees things that the human eye does not. It's just a rack of equipment until you tweak the exposure and add some flash.

Melbourne Cricket Grounds

This place is enormous. I've been to some of the larger college football stadiums in the US, and this place is much larger. The field is significantly larger than US Football, plus the stadium holds over 100,000 spectators.
